THE following is the full itinerary of the Queen's Golden Jubilee visit:
Tuesday, May 7
10.10am: The Queen and Prince Philip will arrive at Sunderland railway station. They will open the Winter Gardens and there will be a walkabout in Mowbray Park.
11am: The Queen will open the Metro rail link between Sunderland and Gateshead before travelling on one of the trains to Fellgate, South Tyneside.
11.15am: Prince Philip will view construction of a Shell oil rig, destined for Nigeria.
11.25am: Jubilee party at St Joseph's RC Primary School for South Tyneside children.
Noon: The Queen will open Gateshead Millennium Bridge.
12.25pm: The couple will attend a reception at the Gateshead's Baltic Centre, the Tate Modern of the North, where the Queen will give a speech.
2.45pm: Unveiling of a statue of the late Cardinal Basil Hume.
7.30pm: The couple will arrive at Newcastle City Hall for a gala event, after which they will meet a number of performers.
Wednesday, May 8
10.15am: They will arrive at Seaham station, east Durham, to be greeted by Sir Paul Nicholson, Lord Lieutenant of County Durham, and his wife, Lady Nicholson.
10.25am: The couple arrive at Terrace Green. There will be a welcome from children of Seaham's schools as Her Majesty visits a marquee.
10.55am: The Queen will arrive at Easington Colliery, east Durham, to visit a memorial garden commemorating the colliery mining disaster of 1951. She will meet 34 couples from Easington who are celebrating their golden wedding anniversaries and there will also be a walkabout.
At the same time, Prince Philip will visit Shotton Hall, Peterlee, east Durham, and meet councillors, education leaders and children.
11.30am: The Queen will arrive at Blackhall Rocks. She will visit a marquee featuring an exhibition about the Turning the Tide coastal improvement project, and artwork from three primary schools.
Noon: The Queen arrives at Durham Castle for lunch. She will be presented to guests including Sir Peter Ustinov, chancellor of the University of Durham.
12.55pm: The royal couple will have lunch. Then, they will walk around the city's Market Place to meet people.
2.35pm: The Queen will arrive at Millennium Place, Durham City, then move on to Clayport Library. After meeting local schoolchildren and council staff, she will meet people lining the route outside the library. She will visit the Gala Theatre, where she will sign the visitors' book. Her Majesty will then unveil a commemorative plaque in Millennium Place.
3.40pm: The Queen will arrive in Darlington Market Square. There will be a walkabout around the perimeter of the square when she will meet the public, including disabled and elderly people. Her Majesty will unveil a commemorative stone.
3.10pm: Prince Philip will visit the Stockton campus of Durham University. He will meet schoolchildren, students, university dignitaries and course leaders, and unveil a plaque commemorating his visit.
The couple will be reunited at Teesside Airport for their departure.
