TWO of City of York Council's libraries are to be temporarily closed this month, users have been warned.
Tang Hall library will close next week for two weeks so that essential work on adding a UK Online information technology learning centre can take place.
The council's library service has recently opened a new children's library on the ground floor of the Tang Hall building. The old children's library on the first floor will become a learning centre next month, offering residents access to new opportunities.
To allow for the improvements, the library will be closed from Monday until Monday, May 20. It is due to reopen on Tuesday, May 21.
Poppleton Library will also close on Wednesday, May 22, to allow repair work to be carried out, following a vandal attack.
