The pool section is very tight with only two points separating the top four teams. Crook Belle Vue recorded a very good away win at Ferryhill, who slipped to their second defeat in the decider. The Crook side went two up with wins from Gordon Dodds and Doug McCarthy but the Wray brothers, Steve and Terry levelled the match. In the decider, Crook's Pip Samson beat Gary Taylor.
This result leaves Cockton Hill and the Victoria equal at the top, one point ahead of Crook Belle Vue and two ahead of Ferryhill but both Crook and Ferryhill have a game in hand.
