The Under-11s Royals made a lively start against Stockton West End with R Pattinson going past two players to make it 1-0.
A minute later S Ellis replied for Stockton and 18 minutes later V Wray broke through and chipped the keeper 2-1. After 24 minutes H Morrison's shot hit the bar, A Saunders followed through to make it 3-1. One minute into the second half V Wray crossed for R Pattinson to shoot and score 4-1.
Four minutes later S Ellies scored for Stockton 4-2 and after 39 minutes H Morrison sent a Saunders through ball to slam it past the keeper 5-2. Stockton replied after 43 minutes making it 5-3.
Minutes later A Saunders converted a free kick making the score 6-3. F Cantwell put through Saunders who placed it in the corner for 7-3.
After 55 minutes F Cantwell took the ball into the box and passed to Saunders who dummied the keeper 8-34 and minutes later R Pattinson intercepted a goal kick, ran forward unleashing a strong shot to make it 9-3. A well deserved result for all improving Royals team to go forward to the next round of the cup.
Royals fought hard in their 2-1 defeat at home to Marton. Their opponents scored first and Tracey Swales equalised from a free kick. Marton came back and made it 2-1. A strong physical match with both teams competing to win possession but the score remained 2-1 to Marton. MoM K Hewitson
The Under-16s Royals were looking forward to their fixture versus Reyrolles as they fielded a full side for only the second time this season and Reyrolles were unbeaten.
Katie Outhwaite hit the post after ten minutes and Royals continued with some excellent possession football and passing moves throughout.
Tracey Swales scored after 22 minutes with a tremendous corner kick curled round the keeper. Four minutes into the second half T Swales' corner was headed into the net by Katie Edwards to make it 2-0.
Royals continued to command the game allowing players to switch positions and still remain on top after five minutes play, T Swales took the ball round two defenders and shimmied the keeper to make it 3-0 on 70 minutes.
An all-round team performance with excellent goals.
