WORK by fine art, three-dimensional design and graphics students at Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College, Darlington, will be on display from today until May 22 at the Art Gallery in Crown Street.
Sculptures by Kim Errington, who has cast forms from parts of her body, and Nicola Johnson, whose white installation includes children's clothes stiffened with plaster, will be on show.
Textiles student Louise MacNaughton was inspired by punk fashions of Vivienne Westwood to create a dress constructed of coloured layers of net, safety pins and text.
The centrepiece of the exhibition is a mural for Middleton Tyas Primary School.
Art foundation students spent months on the collage of images of space heroes, jungle animals and fairgrounds.
After its public showing, the mural will be installed in the school playground.
