COUNCILLORS will be asked next week to approve plans to convert a Leyburn old peoples' home into flats and houses. Lochiel House closed this year when owners Margaret and Keith Knight decided to retire. If Richmondshire District Council agrees, the property in St Matthew's Terrace will be converted into two houses and three apartments.
