FORMER Pop Idol contestant Aaron Bayley had them rocking in the shopping aisles during the weekend.
Screaming girls packed in to see the 27-year-old perform three songs at Middlesbrough's Cleveland Centre, on Saturday.
The former train driver, from Walkerdene, Newcastle, sang My Girl, I Get a Kick Out of You and the song he hopes to release as a single, Walking in Memphis.
"I haven't signed a record deal yet," he said.
"But I am due to be released from my Pop Idol contract on Thursday and my management company have been talking to record companies, so the single should be released in about four to six weeks.
"I am hoping for a number one, but at the moment I am just loving every minute of this. It beats being a train driver."
Aaron appeared as part of an event organised by the Jennings-Ford motor group to promote the new Ford Fiesta car
