MOTORISTS in Middlesbrough can take advantage of free vehicle exhaust tests throughout this month.
Middlesbrough Council has organised the tests so drivers can ensure their vehicles comply with safety requirements.
Principal environmental health officer Dr Anthony Luke said: "We'll carry out a free check and offer advice on where to sort out any problem - usually it is something which costs very little to put right."
Checks are between 10am and 3pm on: May 9 and 30, Rainbow Leisure Centre car park, Coulby Newham; May 14 and 28, Sainsbury's car park, town centre; May 15 and 22, Netto car park, Ormesby Road; May 16 and 29, Pallister Park car park, Ormesby Road; May 21, Morrisons, Ormesby Road; May 23, Clairville Stadium, Park Road South.
