TREASURED family snaps and community photographs are needed for a project in Middlesbrough.
The University of Teesside is asking people from Hemlington to bring their pictures along to a workshop so they can be scanned in to a computer and displayed on a website.
People will also be invited to scan in their own face and take digital pictures out on the street during the event at the Hemlington Initiative Centre, Cass House Road, on Thursday, May 16, between 12.30pm and 3pm.
The project has been organised to mark Adult Learners' Week - a national initiative from May 11 to 17 aimed at encouraging adults to return to study.
Other events include:
* A talk on forensic investigation on Tuesday, May 14 at The Lincs Centre, The Bungalows, Grangetown between 10am and 11.30am and on Thursday, May 16 at South Bank Women's Centre, Upper Albion Street between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.
* Tours of the university's Virtual Reality Centre, off Stephenson Street, Middlesbrough, on Wednesday, May 15, at 1pm, 1.40pm, 3pm and 3.40pm.
