Police are becoming concerned about the welfare of Janavieve Muihyr Oswald, 31, who went missing from the west end of Newcastle at about 4pm on Saturday. OPEN DAY: To promote good dog ownership during National Pet Week this week, Durham City Council and Deerness Kennels are holding a family open day at the kennels on Mill Road, Langley Moor, Durham, on Friday, from 11am. Visitors will have the chance to speak to animal care experts, and attractions will include a dog training display, children's painting competition and free microchipping.
