Mobile phones will be banned when an award-winning North Yorkshire garden opens to the public for three "quiet days".
The gardens are owned by ex-Defence Minister James Ramsden, former Conservative MP for Harrogate, and his wife Juliet.
The gardens at Old Sleningford, Mickley, near Ripon, have been enjoyed by thousands of visitors over the years, but recently special days have been set aside for visitors to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the site which includes a woodland walk, lake, watermill and a walled kitchen garden.
The owners have recently been presented with an award for completing 21 years of open gardens at Old Slenginford by the National Gardens Scheme. During that time thousands of pounds has been raised for charities.
The quiet days on June 20, 28 and 27, promise visitors an opportunity to enjoy the peace and tranquility.
