BIG-hearted fundraisers took to the streets for a 10km fun run on Sunday to raise cash in memory of tragic schoolboy Jamie Bucknell.
Jamie, 14, who lived in Strensall, near York, died last year when he suffered a sudden and unexpected heart attack.
Players from the local football club dressed in women's clothes for the fun run and were joined by about 100 other runners.
Among people taking part in the event at Huntington Stadium were Jamie's schoolfriends, his family and members of Elvington football team.
Since Jamie died, his family have set up a memorial fund in his honour. His father, Keith, who took part in the run, said afterwards: "The support has been amazing since Jamie died and it is very much appreciated."
Future fundraising events include a charity six-a-side football tournament to be held on the Astroturf pitch opposite Huntington School, which Jamie attended.
