Toon barmy Pete Osborne travels 13,000 miles every season to watch his team - and that is just for home games.
Mr Osborne is a Newcastle United nut, but lives 350 miles away from St James's Park.
He sets off for home matches at 8am to make sure he is there for kick-off and arrives home at 1am.
Mr Osborne, of Margate, Kent, has had his loyalty rewarded by being named Football Supporter of the Year, pocketing £15,000 in prize money.
The dedicated Magpie has made the 700-mile round trip for all league and cup games at St James's this season, and also travels to all away matches.
The season ticket holder spends about £2,500 a season travelling to games across Britain.
He said: "I love Newcastle United and have not missed a home match for years."
Mr Osborne beat competition from other superfans, including Peterborough supporter Cicely Winterton and Carlisle United fanatic Paul Graves.
His win also means that Newcastle will receive a £1,000 donation to its Football in the Community scheme.
