Sven-Goran Eriksson has named his 23-man squad for this summer's World Cup finals in Japan and South Korea.
There is no place in the squad for Blackburn's Matt Jansen who had been tipped as an outsider to make Eriksson's final 23. Steve McManaman also misses out along with Danny Murphy, altough Murphy remains on standby to cover any midfield withdrawals.
