MORE people are getting on the bus in South Tyneside, according to Go North East.
The bus company said that some key community routes in the borough had seen a rise in passengers amounting to an extra 53,000 journeys in the year to March 31.
Go North East believes the increase in use can be attributed to the forging of a partnership with the borough council to improve services
