PEOPLE living in an east Cleveland village are being invited to take part in an event organised for Adult Learners' Week.
The Skinningrove Community Facility, in the old village school, will be hosting a range of events including glass painting, creative writing, tap dancing and baby resuscitation.
A range of displays and information will be available with opportunities for volunteers to become involved with a number of different projects in the village.
The event, on Thursday, May 16 from 10am until 2pm, is being supported by the Single Regeneration Budget and has been organised by the Workers' Education Association.
Organisations involved include Sure Start East Cleveland, East Cleveland Youth Housing, the Tom Leonard Mining Museum and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's Adult Education Service
