Durham City

The senior men's team travelled to Portobello to play in the Warrender Baths club five-a-side tournament. City were in the tougher half of the draw and lost to Dunfermline 4-3 and Burnley 6-1, but drew with Fleetwood 3-3.

The young Durham team found it hard going against experienced teams of senior players. Play was very physical, which did not suit Durham's swimming game. Overall, the Durham team played well and gained valuable experience. The tournament was won by the host club Warrender, who defeated Burnley in the final.

the senior players.
