Crook Mill House were taken to the deciding doubles before they beat the visiting Crook Olde Horse Shoe B to retain their top spot in the First Division. The home side had singles wins from Alan Bibby, John Winning and Stephen Heyes, whilst the Olde Horse Shoe B team levelled with wins from Peter Clement, Carl Maddison and Wayne Smith. In the deciding doubles, Ian Bibby and Eddie Ryan took the Mill to victory by beating Lee Scott and David Walker.
At the bottom end of the Second Division Crook Jelly's Bar B moved from the foot of the table with a good home win over Crook Golden Fleece, who are now entrenched at the bottom. The home side had singles wins from Neil Stoker, Dave Morris, Chris Smith and Martin Harker with Stoker and Harker taking the doubles. The two points for the Fleece came from Martin Mann and Stephen Fairgrieve.
Willington Market lead the Second Division by one point from Crook Jelly's Bar A, with Crook Coach and Horses B a further four points adrift.

Willington Dominoes League
The League Doubles Championship was held at the Victoria Club with two pairs going through to Finals Night. The successful pairs were Ronnie Greensmith and Norman Bolam of the Victoria Club and Derek Brazier and Jimmy Hodgson of Sunnybrow Brown Trout.
The play off for the runners-up spot in the final table between Sunnybrow Brown Trout and the Prospect Club will be played at the Prospect on Monday, 13 May.
Tow Law Dominoes League
In the first game of the new season Sunniside Comedian entertained Tow Law North Point and never managed to take the lead until they clinched victory in the decider. Colin Armstrong put the Point ahead but Jeff Ridley equalised, only to see Alan Henderson restore the visitors lead. Dave Ferguson pulled the Comedian level and they went to victory when Lee Cullinan beat Phil Hall in the decider.
