CHARITIES and voluntary organisations can add recruits to their ranks at a forthcoming charity fair.
The annual Chester-le-Street charity and community fair, in which charities, community groups and learning organisations can take up a free stall and raise their profile, will be held in the town's market place on Thursday, June 6.
Mel White, from Chester-le-Street and District Council for Voluntary Service and Volunteer Bureau said the event will also be useful for people wanting to discover what kind of voluntary work was available.
There will also be family entertainment including face painting and magic and puppet shows.
