Clubs and traders are being invited to reserve places for a charity country fair organised by Help the Aged.
The event, on July 13 and 14, at Whitworth Hall Country Park, Spennymoor, will feature modelling clubs, antique and craft fairs, a farmers' market, a car boot sale, vintage vehicles and a table-top sale. To reserve a site contact Peter Beaty on (01325) 313924.

HOUSE BURGLED: A white Binatone television, a black VHS video recorder and a compact disc hi-fi system have been stolen from a house in Hunter Terrace, Chilton.

BICYCLE STOLEN: A speckled grey Raleigh Giant mountain bike was stolen from the shopping area in Woodham, Newton Aycliffe, between 5.40pm and 6.10pm on Tuesday.
ALLOTMENT RAID: An orange Benassi petrol-driven cultivator, model number MC450, worth £2,100, was stolen from a cabin on allotments at Travellers Green, Newton Aycliffe, between 7pm on Monday and 9am on Tuesday.
TREES TAKEN: Two brown, terracotta pots containing 3ft 6in conifer trees, worth £30 each, were stolen from the garden of a house in St Oswald's Walk, Newton Aycliffe, between 6pm on Tuesday and 8pm on Wednesday.
CASH SNATCHED: £100 in cash was stolen from a house in Brockett Close, Newton Aycliffe, between 10.30am and 11am on Wednesday.
WINDOW SMASHED: A window at Sedgefield Community College was smashed by vandals between 11.30am and noon on Thursday.

MAYOR VISIT: The Mayor of Darlington, Councillor Isobel Hartley, will attend a Diabetes UK Entertainment Evening at the town's Arts Centre, tomorrow, at 7.30pm.
SHOP CHANGE: William Hill has applied to Darlington Borough Council to convert a retail shop at 57-58 Skinnergate into a betting shop, build a single-storey rear extension and install new shop fronts.
