A TEESDALE village plans to celebrate the Queen's golden jubilee with events for all the family on Monday, June 3.
Hamsterley and South Bedburn will celebrate with a bring-your-own picnic on the village green from 1.30pm.
Children can enjoy games, sports and a bouncy castle, and those under 17 who live in Hamsterley will get a souvenir mug.
There will also be a tug-of-war contest, and a jubilee bonnet competition.
From 8pm the working men's club will host a disco and supper.
To register a child for a jubilee mug contact Julia Hunter at the post office or telephone (01388) 488483 by May 23.
