Clairville Boys FC Under-14s have been awarded a prestigious sponsorship deal by DC Daniels, a local dentist, who has offered the club ongoing sponsorship.
Colin Hudson, chairman of Clairville Boys welcomed the news and said it will be fantastic for the club who are one of the most successful in the league and can now build on their success without worrying about the financial side of running the club.
Charles Daniels, who is a lifelong Middlesbrough supporter and is now the official dentist for the Premiership club, played for the Royal London Hospital and was captain of their tennis team.
He said: "It is always nice to see juniors playing football and with surgeries at both 105 Kings Road, North Ormesby and 61 Roman Road, Middlesbrough, it would be nice to give something back to the local community.
"I was impressed with Colin from Clairville Boys and for what he and the players have achieved over the years. I am sure with our help they can go on and build on that success."
