Crook Golden Fleece clinched the League Championship when they only dropped two points on their visit to Crook Royal Sun. This leaves them 14 points clear of Crook Mill House with only one match left. The Mill seem certain runners-up as they lead Crook Royal Sun by nine points and only need one from their final match to clinch the trophy spot.
The leading individual scorers were Lee Ann Scrivens 137 for the King's Head, Tracey Thompson 134 for the Royal Sun Inn, Joan Walker 133 and Corrine Heslop 120 for the Golden Fleece and Ann Taylor 124 for Bar 56.

Willington League
The six-a-side competition will be held at the Prospect Club on Monday May 13. The League Finals Night will be held at the Victoria Club on Monday, May 20, with the Presentation Evening at Willington Club on Thursday, June 6.
The League's annual meeting will be held at the Prospect Club on Wednesday, July 17 at 7.30pm. There are vacancies for any new teams interested and any team requiring further information should telephone Phil Blyth on 01388 7456317.
