Middleton St George posted the huge total of 244 for nine when they entertained Aldbrough St John in Division A.
Ayub led the way with 95 and the next highest contribution was extras on 36. In the Aldbrough St John attack Harker returned figures of four for 42 and Snelling three for 91.
Replying the visitors slumped to 67 all out and 37 of the runs were provided by Holehouse. McKenna turned in a good performance with the ball for Middleton St George claiming a hat-trick in figures of five for 35 and Hussain had three for 20.
Barningham defeated Ingleton by three wickets after the home side realised 151 all out which included 70 not out by Michael Batey.
McGarr returned figures of six for 79 and Walker three for 37 for Barningham, who replied with 152 for seven which included a half-century from Keogh and 35 from McGarr.
Cockerton could only make 108 all out and lost by 79 runs at home to Raby Castle. Black top scored with 30 and for Raby Castle Poole had five for 39 and Dent three for 29.
Batting first Raby Castle finished with 187 for five mainly as a result of the efforts of Poole, who began his man of the match performance carrying his bat for 103. He was given excellent support by Brown with 64 as the pair formed a productive partnership for the second wicket.
Rockliffe Park overtook the Eryholme total of 106 for seven losing just three wickets. Garbutt carried his bat for 35 and when Eryholme batted first they totalled 106 for seven including 39 not out by opener Warne. Howell claimed four wickets for 21 runs in the visiting attack.
Spennymoor managed 27 in 12 overs at home to Barton for whom Headon had a hat-trick in figures of six for 11 from 6.5 overs. Frankland added support with three for three and Barton reached their target losing one wicket in 5.3 overs.
Heighington had 81 runs in hand of Witton-le-Wear. Riley top scored with 90 and Storey carried his bat for 38 out of a total of 136 for four before Witton-le-Wear were reduced to 95 including 48 by opener Chrisp. Overfield, with four for 16 and Olney three for five shared seven wickets for Heighington.
In Division B Trimdon CCA defeated Middleton-in-Teesdale by eight wickets after restricting their opponents to just 64 runs in 23.5 overs. Brian Coughtree, Danny Carter and David Watchman shared seven wickets before Trimdon CCA went on to win in 16.5 overs mainly due to an unbeaten innings of 32 by Danny Carter who struck three boundaries.
Brompton-on-Swale were restricted to 86 for seven with Whitfield taking five for 30 before losing by seven wickets to East Cowton. Top scorer for East Cowton was Clark who finished undefeated on 26.
Catterick Village were 91 for six and lost by six wickets to Haughton. Swainston batted well for Catterick ending with 31 not out and for Haughton Edwards claimed three wickets for 21 runs. Haughton made a good start to their reply through McGuire (26) and Vipond (18) before Spark finished unbeaten on 19.
Wallis scored 72 before being run out and Lawson added 31 to the Dales total of 133 all out at Lands for whom Simpson returned figures of six for 43 and Dalton three for 31.
Elstob gave the Lands reply the perfect send off and was only five runs short of his century when he was bowled, but Lands managed to win by just one wicket. Platt had five for 56 and Hutchinson took three for 25 for Dales.
Rogerson was within four runs of a century for Cliffe out of his team's total of 176 for nine at home to Middleton Tyas for whom Wilkinson had four for 59 and Hirst three for 49.
Curry took a hat-trick in figures of three for 11 and Adamson had five for 21 as Middleton Tyas were dismissed for 72.
King James also totalled 72 and lost by eight wickets to Heighington. Jamieson and Gibson both took five wickets in the Heighington attack.
In Division C Haughton made 177 for five with Dobbinson scoring 95 not out and Marshall 56 not out. Wilson took three for 42 and replying Aldbrough St John could only manage 34.
Tenson had four for 23 and Porritt three for 13 as Trimdon CCA were restricted to 54, a target which Barton overtook for the lost of one wicket.
Lee (43), Gill (47) and Taylor (37no) led the way in the Raby Castle innings which ended on 170 for four and replying Cockerton were 134 for three including 72 not out by Gill and 34 from Carroll.
Raby turned in a splendid bowling performance for Rockliffe Park capturing eight wickets for just 26 runs and Cliffe were all out for 65. Edwards contributed 34 to the Rockliffe Park reply of 66 for three.
Tinkler with an unbeaten 70 and Craggs (41) enabled Trimdon Colliery and Deaf Hill to make 198 for eight and in response Lands were 125 with Elliott scoring 43 and Craggs taking four for 41 in the Trimdon attack.
There was a full programme in the league on Monday and in Division A Rockliffe Park just edged Cockerton by three runs. Krishnan was man of the match scoring 42 and taking six wickets for Rockliffe Park who totalled 123 for nine as Farrow returned five for 49 and Glew three for 25. Despite 30 by Black and 31 from Farrow, Cockerton were four runs short of victory with their last pair at the wicket.
Barton defeated Middleton St George by five wickets, Heighington enjoyed a big victory at home to Eryholme and Raby Castle hit Spennymoor with a 125 runs defeat bowling out their opponents for just 25.
In Division B Cliffe ended on 142 before restricting Dales to 134 for nine and Trimdon CCA had 33 runs in hand of East Cowton after totalling 98 and bowling out their opponents for 65.
Haughton had the better of King James, Middleton-in-Teesdale defeated Heighington and Brompton-on-Swale posted 176 for six before containing Middleton Tyas to 147 for eight.
In Division C Rockliffe Park romped to 226 for eight which included 59 by Allenby and 49 not out from Swanwick. Grundy, who took three for 52, then top scored with 30 for Cockerton and for Rockliffe Park Edwards had figures of three for 13.
Haughton defeated Barton by nine wickets after restricting their opponents to 74 all out as Bean took four 11 and Green three for 24. An unbeaten 32 from Burgess saw Haughton safely home.
Barningham were all out for 42 against Lands, who batting first, made 228 for seven and Raby Castle easily accounted for Trimdon CCA.
Pickering carried his bat for 74 and Gowland added 61 to the Raby Castle total of 156 for one. Trimdon CCA were all out for 62 including an unbeaten 30 by Pratt and for Raby Castle Jackson took six wickets for 40 runs.
In midweek neither Archeacon nor DGSOB could find it in themselves to trouble the keepers in their first half of their encounter at Croft. However, after the break a superb 40-yard volley from Michael Thraves finally broke the deadlock. Tom Marshall levelled from the spot only for Neil Blewitt to put the Deacon in front again in identical fashion. Anth Freeman then came off the subs bench to increase Deacon's advantage and veteran keeper Ted Halstead made sure of the point when he saved Old Boys' second penalty of the game.
RA Social needing 13 points from their last seven games to finish runners-up dropped a further two points with a 1-1 draw with East End for whom John Banks scored. Earlier David Hindson had put RA ahead.
DSRM SC took the lead in the first minute of their encounter with Grey Horse through Mark Smith, but Horse levelled after half an hour. Grey Horse took control in the second half to run out 5-1 winners with goals from Philip Makepeace (2), Darren Tate (2) and Paul Gilsenan.
Speedy Hire took the lead after only ten minutes against Rothmans when Steve Charlton squeezed home a penalty past an unlucky Ben Gascoyne. Michael Bland was then unlucky not to equalise when his goalbound effort rebounded into play off the inside of the angle. Anthony Weir broke away ten minutes from time to wrap up a 2-0 win for Speedy Hire, a win which was tempered by the loss of the points through the winners fielding two unregistered players. Rothmans declined the offer to reply the fixture because of Speedy's indiscretion.
Saturday saw the semi-finals of the Kingfisher Finance Trophy played. A much improved Greyhounds rattled RA Social when Dave Wilson chipped in after only five minutes. RA stepped up the pressure, but did not equalise until midway through the half. However, they capitalised on their superiority to make it 3-1 at the break. Determined to make a game of it David Wilson reduced the arrears immediately after the restart and Greyhounds pressed for an equaliser for the rest of the game, but RA broke away three minutes from time and exploiting the gaps at the back converted to make the final score 4-2.
In the other semi Killinghall Arms took an early lead through Andy Roberts, but the Albion levelled by half time. Second half saw Albion finish the stronger and despite a second goal for Killie from Kevin Ashton Albion ran out 5-2 winners. Gavin Bell won again among the goals for Albion.
Up to nine days ago Monday's clash between RA Social and Post Boy could well have been the championship decider. However, with the title in the bag Post Boy's only concern was that they surrendered their unbeaten league record to a determined RA Social by 3-0. Davuid Hindson opened the scoring with a betting 40-yarder and Steve Appleby put RA two up at the interval. RA then missed a penalty before RA wrapped up the victory two minutes from time when Barry Foster thrashed one home.
