Durham Wildlife Trust is holding a family nature walk at Edmondsley Wood Nature Reserve today, at 1.30pm.
The walk will start from the end of Appledore Gardens, in Edmondsley, which is near Chester-le-Street, and will last for about two hours.
The event is part of the May 2002 Walk in the Woods project, which is designed to encourage appreciation of woods and forests.
