Police are hoping to track down the owner of a Citroen Saxo car spotted near the scene of a fatal accident last month. The dark vehicle, which had three occupants, was seen leaving Swainby, near Northallerton, North Yorkshire, late on the night of April 30, when a Vauxhall Corsa plunged into a beck, killing one man. Driver killed: A woman was killed yesterday when the car she was driving was involved in a collision with another vehicle on the A19, near Northallerton, North Yorkshire. The female driver of the other car was said to be seriously injured in the accident, which occurred on the northbound carriageway at about 1.25pm. Witnesses are asked to contact police on (01609) 783131.
INDECENT ASSAULT: A 15-year-old boy denied ten allegations of indecent assault at Darlington Youth Court yesterday. The boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, pleaded not guilty to the charges and will appear in court again on June 14 for a pre-trial review.
BISHOP'S TALK: The Anglican Bishop of Jerusalem, the Right Reverend Riah Abu El-Assal, will give a talk, entitled The Plight of the Palestinian People, at St Michael-le-Belfrey Church, York, on Tuesday, at 7.30pm. There is no admission charge, but entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
INSIDE STORY: The story of a North-East prison will be told on television next week. Inside Out, which will be shown on Tyne Tees on Tuesday at 10.50pm, follows the story of Kirklevington Grange Resettlement Prison, near Yarm. It is the only one of its kind in the region and is geared towards preparing offenders who are nearing the end of their sentences for life, and work, on the outside.

OPERA DATE: The Ukrainian National Opera of Odessa will stop off at Sunderland during its first ever tour of the country, to perform The Barber of Seville at the Sunderland Empire Theatre, on Saturday, June 15.
