A REVISED rail timetable comes into force today, as work continues to clear the devastation caused by Friday's crash at Potters Bar, which claimed the lives of seven people
GNER - whose services connect the North-East and North Yorkshire with London, passing through Potters Bar - said it was likely to be in operation for several days, with all GNER trains to and from London being diverted via Hertford, adding up to 30 minutes to journey times.
The new timetable is about 80 per cent of the normal one and will see half-hourly trains to the North-East, hourly to West Yorkshire and hourly to Scotland.
No GNER services will operate direct to or from Harrogate, Skipton, Hull and Bradford.
Passengers are advised to check travel times on 08457 484950.
