WOMEN had the chance to put their driving skills to the test over the weekend - but there was hardly a car to be seen.
Instead, they took the controls of a variety of vehicles varying from armoured cars to bin lorries and HGVs to buses.
About 200 women descended on RAF Linton-on-Ouse, near York, to test their prowess and to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
It was the third year such an event has been held and it is believed the latest could have raised almost £20,000 for the charity.
