IT may not appear in any tourism guides, but a homemade tower in Ryedale is fast becoming one of North Yorkshire's more bizarre attractions.
More than 25,000 used horseshoes have been turned into a metallic structure that has become a landmark in the village of North Grimston, near Malton. The tower was created by farrier Jeff Stevens, who runs a workshop nearby.
