A SHOP assistant is celebrating after scooping £57,848 at bingo.
The 42-year-old Hartlepool woman, who does not want to be named, became the second big winner at the Mecca Club, in the town's Warrior Retail Park.
She was at the club on Saturday evening with her 70-year-old mother and her husband.
The woman won the National Bingo Game prize of £56,580, plus the regional prize of £1,052 and the house prize of £216, having completed a full house in 43 numbers.
The woman said she had been playing bingo since she was 18 years old and planned to spend some of her winnings on a car and holiday.
In March a 42-year-old mother of two, also from Hartlepool, won £60,485 at the club.
Neil Lamb, customer services manager, said: "As all good things come in threes, our members are expecting another big winner very soon - and are all hoping it will be their turn.
