PART-time soldiers across North Yorkshire will be hitting the streets at the weekend - to tell the public about life in the Territorial Army.
Many TA centres open their doors to all on Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
People will have the chance to talk to the soldiers and see displays of the weapons and equipment they use.
In Coppergate, York, there will be light tanks from the Queen's Own Yeomanry and music by the band of the Yorkshire Volunteers.
At the Tyne Tees Regiment's TA centre in Coldyhill Lane, Scarborough, visitors can experience an anti-tank simulator. Recruiting teams will be in Northallerton and Scarborough town centres.
