A GLOBE-TROTTING pensioner is jetting off on the trip of a lifetime.
Enid Gouldsbrough, of Darlington, has compiled a wish list of places she wants to visit in the coming years.
She has already been on four cruises in the past two years but is travelling in true style for her next holiday.
The 74-year-old widow has booked a cabin on the QE2 to New York and she will then fly back in style on Concorde.
Mrs Gouldsbrough books most of her dream holidays through Travel Counsellors. Her local agent, Elaine Jackson, visits her at home to make sure she gets exactly the holiday she wants.
Mrs Jackson said: "Enid is a very adventurous lady and very brave.
"I am always delighted to see her and help her plan her next amazing journey.
"We can usually tailor any holiday to suit an individual and it's great to organise things for Enid."
Once she is back in Darlington, Mrs Gouldsbrough will start planning her next trip either to the Panama Canal or a journey on the Orient Express but she is always open to new ideas of exciting places to go.
She said: "There are some places that I want to see but I often think of new holidays while I'm away and talking to people about where they have been.
"Elaine has been wonderful and it's great that I have been able to take two more dreams off my wish list."
