CYCLE enthusiasts can get on their bike for the second of Stockton Borough Council's road safety team's Easy Riders guided rides.
The events are designed to encourage people to get cycling and use the borough's network of cycle paths, lanes and facilities.
On Sunday, the route will take riders from the Tees Barrage to Thorpe Thewles and back, through the Great North Park and along the former Castle Eden rail line.
Neil Ellison, team leader road safety at the council, said: "All riders are welcome whatever their level of experience, although we do insist children under 16 years are accompanied by an adult."
The 13-mile ride starts at 10am from under the anchor at Tees Barrage and will take approximately three hours. There is a mix of on and off-road cycling, escorted by trained volunteer ride leaders.
Toilets and refreshments will be available at the half-way point at Castle Eden Walkway Country park Visitor Centre. For more details, or to register, call Mr Ellison on (01642) 397712.
