MUSIC fans will be able to have a cool night when bands play for the chance to win superb prizes, thanks to a North-East company.
Northumbrian Spring Water, based in Stockton, is donating 170 litres of natural mineral water to the concert for shortlisted bands in The Big Chance contest run by The Northern Echo's music website, Revolution.
Bands hoping to take part need to get their skates on as they have only two more days to enter.
A full list of rules, prizes and instructions are available at the website www.thisisrevolution.co.uk
Already a number of bands from across the region have submitted their own songs in an effort to win the prizes, which include three days' recording time and two days' rehearsal times at Sanity Multimedia, in Stockton.
The shortlisted three rock and three pop acts will perform at the free concert at Darlington College of Technology on Thursday, June 6.
Other prizes for the winners from each genre include a hair make-over for the band at Toni and Guy, in Darlington, the winning acts' CD stocked in outlets including Darlington's V Shop and publicity in The Northern Echo.
