HAUGHTON Community School has scored a hat-trick of football victories, bagging three trophies in a year.
The young teams have won three trophies this season - in the under-12s, the under-13s and the under-16s competitions.
Triumph by Haughton's year 11 team in the town cup final against Longfield was followed by trophy victories for their year seven and eight teams.
The year seven team came back from two goals down to beat Carmel School in the Darlington Schools Knockout Cup on May 1.
The year eight team beat Hummersknott Comprehensive School in the Darlington Schools Trophy, after being runner-up in the under-13s County Cup.
Haughton's head of physical education, Jackson Sweeting, said: "We are very proud of the achievement of all the players and delighted at this hat-trick of success."
