TWO men appeared in court yesterday following the seizure of heroin with a street value of £8,000.
Liam Woodier, 20, of Leckfell Close, Nunthorpe, and John McPartland, 21, of Ros-coe Street, Middlesbrough, were charged at Teesside Magistrates' Court with possession with intent to supply and possession of heroin.
Mr Woodier was also accused of stealing a car, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and without insurance, failing to stop at the scene of an accident and failing to report an accident. Mr McPartland was charged with aiding and abetting the car theft and aiding and abetting dangerous driving.
The charges follow a crash in Middlesbrough on Tuesday. The men were remanded in custody until May 22.
