The league held its annual presentation evening at the Workingmens Club, Northallerton on Thursday, May 9.
Trophy winners were as follows.
Dominoes - Division One winners: Nags Head A, runners-up Tickle Toby A.
Fives and Threes winners: Elders A, runners up the Green Tree, Brompton. These trophies were presented by Harold Bartram, life vice president.
Dominoes - Division Two winners: Elders B, runners-up Duke of Wellington, Welbury.
Fives and Threes winners: RA FA club, runners-up Grey Horse A, Rounton. These trophies were presented by Mr Derek Beckwith, life vice president.
Dominoes - Division Three winners: Golden Lion B, Romanby, runners-up The Crosby, Thornton-le-Beans.
Fives and Threes winners: Gold Cup Silton, runners up Haynes Arms, Jeater House. These trophies were presented by Eddie Morris, life vice president.
In the absence of Dave Jamieson, the Dave Jamieson fives and threes knockout trophies were presented to the winners and runners-up by Eric Walker who, along with Zoe Taylor, are the league's sponsors for this year. The winners were the Masons Arms, Northallerton and the runners-up were the Cricket Club B, Northallerton. Eric (Titch) Watson presented the Titch Watson Domino Knock-Out trophies to the winners Wheatsheaf, Borrowby, with the Grey Horse A, Rounton as runners up.
Andrew Trueman then presented the Charlie Trueman Trophy to the winners Sheila Ellis and Liz Old, Nags Head B team. The individual domino pairs winners were T Hall and D Robinson, Elders B individual fives and three pairs winners were P Clarkson and K Scott, the Green Tree, Brompton. the combined division cup winners were as follows division one, Elders A, division two, RAFA Club, division three, Golden Lion B, Romanby. The final trophy of the evening, the Geoff Wetherill Memorial Trophy for champion of champions went to the Golden Lion B, Romanby.
Finally the MC for the evening, Steve Whitmarsh, thanked everyone for attending, thanked the secretary, Norman Skinner for his work during the season, the sponsors and the Workingmens Club.
