A SENSORY garden will be opened by Viscount Eccles in the grounds of a medieval North-East castle today.
Viscount Eccles will be joined by Peter Bromley, regional director of English Heritage, at the opening of the garden at Barnard Castle, in County Durham.
The garden will feature a mix of flowers, spices and aromatic herbs, as well as sculptures.
The garden has been developed by the Rotary Club of Barnard Castle, in association with English Heritage, and funding has also been provided by the European Union.
