WANT to learn more about the craft of beekeeping, and why the "waggle dance" is the bee equivalent of a satellite navigation system?
Visitors to RHS Garden Harlow Carr in Harrogate can find out more about these and other interesting bee facts at the Garden's apiary.
Beekeeping demonstrations will be held each Saturday at 2pm (weather permitting) from now until mid-September.
Visitors can see a variety of beekeeping clothing and equipment as well as a working hive that is fascinating to both adults and children alike.
Beekeeping is a traditional craft but also a growing trend, as demonstrated by the 160 members of the Harrogate and Ripon Beekeepers' Association.
Demonstrations are free with the normal entrance fee into the gardens (RHS members free, adults £4.50, pensioners £3.50, students £2, children 11 to 16 £1, children under 11 free).
For details, call RHS Garden Harlow Carr on (01423) 565418, or visit the gardens on Crag Lane (just off the B6162 Otley Road). http://www.rhs.org.uk
