Federation Special Durham Senior League Under-15
Hetton Lyons were all out for 14 against Philadelphia at Bunker Hill. Jonathan Loach picked up three wickets without conceding a run in two overs, Brian Telfer had three for two in his three-over spell and Luke Anderson weighed in with two for ten, also bowling three overs.
Philadelphia lost four wickets but comfortably ended winners.
South Hetton won by nine wickets when they entertained Felling who were restricted to 50 for nine as John Quarmby claimed a hat-trick in figures of three wickets without conceding a run.
Paul Davidson top scored with 24 and Kyle Bradbury carried his bat for 20 when South Hetton replied with 53 for one.
Burnmoor defeated Whitburn by six wickets. Batting first the home team struggled to 45 for six of which Locke scored 16 and for Burnmoor Hall had two for eight. Although Locke then captured three wickets for 14 runs, Burnmoor edged to victory with Anderson carrying his bat for 23.
Matthew Hooper top scored with 18 in the Eppleton reply of 66 for two against South Shields at Wood Terrace where the home side scored 65 for the loss of nine wickets. Michael Gray captured four wickets for 25 runs and Anthony Anderson had figures of three for 12 in the Eppleton attack.
Boddingtons Durham Coast League Under-18
Otwo games went ahead because of the weather and Dawdon again produced form defeating Boldon CA by eight wickets. The Gale brothers were prominent and Stephen claimed two wickets for 14 runs when Boldon CA were reduced to 84 all out. He was assisted in the attack by Mark Ewart who captured three wickets for ten runs and Graham Macbeth whose three-wicket haul cost him 26 runs.
When Dawdon replied Anthony Gale scored more than half his side's runs contributing 45 to a match winning total of 85 for two. Andrew Stephenson added 20 and Danny Burridge took both wickets to fall for 21 runs.
The other game was between Bill Quay and Hylton and it was the visitors who came out on top. Batting first Hylton totalled 93 for three with Martin scoring 24. Bill Quay were all out for just 76 with Conlon claiming three wickets for nine runs.
