Riverside

Teams from the Riverside enjoyed a successful weekend at the Fleetwood Tournament in Blackpool. The Under-9s and Under-10s both won their respective tournaments and the Under-11s were unlucky when they lost 1-0 in the final.

Riverside Under-10s RAR side completed a hat-trick in this tournament having won it in 2000, 2001 and now 2002.

In recognition of this achievement the team have been invited to spend a weekend at Blackburn Rovers' ground and their state of the art soccer academy. The weekend will end with a match between Blackburn Rovers Academy and the Riverside RAR.
