SEASIDE VIEWS: A postcard fair will be held in the North Lodge annex of Park View Community School, on Saturday, May 25, from 10am to 4pm.
CLEAN-UP TIME: A spring cleaning day will be held by Birtley Methodist Church on Saturday, May 25.
PARISH WALK: The Waldridge Tavern car park will be the starting point for a four-mile walk taking in the parish boundary and Millennium Green. The walk starts at 11pm, on Sunday.
SCOUT STALL: Great Lumley Scout Group has booked a stall in Chester-le-Street Market Place. Anyone wishing to donate articles for sale can leave them in the Scout building on any meeting night.
COUNCIL TREATS: An athletics meeting organised by Chester-le-Street District Council will be held from 10am until 5pm, tomorrow, at the Riverside. A classic vintage bike show and autojumble will also take place in the Market Place.
DONOR SESSIONS: Blood donor sessions will be held from 2.30pm to 6.15pm, next Friday, at Pelton Community Centre, and from 3pm to 7pm, on Monday, May 27, at Burnopfield Victory Club and Institute.
