THE chairman of Billingham Regeneration Partnership Board has stepped down to concentrate on his expanding business.
Roger Black, who has held the position for a year, decided to step back so he could focus on his print and promotional products business in the town. He will continue to serve as a board member of the partnership.
Councillor Barry Woodhouse will serve as acting chairman until the next round of elections to renew the board's membership take place. He said Mr Black was to be congratulated on his work and was delighted he would stay on as a board member.
