Silksworth, the only side with a 100 per cent record after three matches, host unbeaten Murton buoyed by their magnificent victory over Hylton last weekend when 18-year old captain Chris Pringle stole the show.
More of the same from Pringle and his opening partner in the bowling attack Steve Wright could spell problems for Murton.
Murton announce an unchanged line-up for the third successive match, Silksworth are minus influential early order batsman Graeme Weeks who has responsibilities with Durham County. David Tate has returned from holiday and is the ideal replacement.
Peterlee have assembled a side capable of challenging for honours, and against neighbours Easington, welcome the return of Neil Hewson and Stuart Wilson.
The home side have made their best start in years and professional Keith Hewson is delighted that the improvement shown during the three seasons he has been at the club.
Hylton will need to quickly get over their batting debacle last weekend and at home to Houghton will probably keep changes to a minimum. The early games suggest they are missing the experience of Norman Smith and the all-round abilities of his son Shaun, who have returned to Philadelphia.
Ryhope are minus Martin Brace through work commitments for the visit of Seaham Park. Last Saturday, 14-year olds David Miller scored 81 not out and Kristian Summerside 41.
Seaham bring in Michael Laidler for the unavailable John Witton. Although they are bottom of the table, Seaham have a thriving junior section and have so many under-11 players, that they are looking for additional fixtures with any team.
Dawdon are at full strength for the home game with Bill Quay with Bobby Stephenson, Jamie Greenwood and Calvin McNicholas all lining up as the side continues to search for a first win. The Quay make just one change with David Brown replacing Paul Bentham.
l Worcestershire have signed South African bowler Allan Donald to fill in for overseas star Andy Bichel who will be away on Australia duty next month.
With the selection of Bichel in the Australian squad to play three one-day international's against Pakistan in mid-June, Donald from June 4-19.
Donald's stint with the New Road club will take in Norwich Union League games against Yorkshire, Leicestershire and Durham, a Frizzell County Championship game against Durham, a possible fourth round Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy game against Ireland or Nottinghamshire and a potential semi-final in the Benson & Hedges Cup.
