RESIDENTS of a Teesside community are well and truly in the picture about courses on offer at their local university.
When, as part of Adult Learners' Week, staff from the University of Teesside descended on Hemlington, near Middlesbrough, local people were asked to take along their old neighbourhood photographs and family snaps for inclusion in a website image gallery.
They were also invited to scan their own faces and to take digital pictures out on the street.
The visit was one of a series where staff have offered people a taste of what courses are available at the university.
