ARSENAL might have won the championship and FA Cup double, but that is nothing compared with the mighty St Patrick's RC Primary School first team.
The Consett school has won seven trophies this year, and only narrowly missed out on one of the North-East's most prestigious school trophies.
Not bad considering the team's 'manager', teacher David Archibald, only joined the school last September.
"I don't think anybody's come in to schoolboy football and helped the team win seven trophies in his first year," said headteacher Ted Young.
"He certainly put in a lot of extracurricular work with the team and everybody is really proud of them."
Mr Young said the team won four seven-a-side football trophies, one six-a-side and two five-a-side trophies. The school team was runners-up in the Alan Grimes Trophy, which involves schools from across the old county of Durham area, including Sunderland, South Tyneside and Stockton.
