RESIDENTS living in Hartlepool's New Deal for Communities area are invited to attend a community forum meeting tonight, when they will be given a project update.
Regular community forum meetings are being held to make sure the 10,000 people who live in the New Deal area are kept abreast of projects.
Tonight's forum will be held in the Supporter's Club, Duke Street, Hartlepool, from 6.30pm.
Jimmy McKenna, a local musician, will unveil a project developed by residents to help unearth musical talent.
He said: "There is a tremendous amount of musical talent in Hartlepool and the project will enable these people to create their own music and make it available on the Internet. It is a ground-breaking venture as far as Hartlepool is concerned."
There will also be a short presentation to outline what is being done in the town to tackle domestic violence.
