CHILDREN from a Darlington special school are preparing to take part in a coast-to-coast bike ride to raise money for a local hospice.
Pupils with learning difficulties from Beaumont Hill School will be undertaking the gruelling ride between June 23 and 28.
They will be joined by staff from the school and Darlington College of Technology for the trip, which aims to raise money for St Teresa's Hospice.
Organisers are appealing for local firms and businesses to support the fundraising effort.
For further information, or details on how to sponsor the riders, contact Sue Harston on (01325) 254000.
