TWO walks have been arranged in the Yorkshire Dales as part of a national initiative to mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
Richmond Ramblers and the town's Rotary Club have linked up to mirror a partnership at national level to organise walks for people of all abilities in Reeth and Richmond.
The first ramble leaves Reeth at 10.30am on Sunday, passing through Thirns, Foregill Gate, Langthwaite, Booze and Castle Farm, on a ten-mile circular route.
The second, at 2.30pm the same day, is a gentle five-mile saunter from Richmond, leaving from the Nun's Close car park.
Anyone who would like further information on the walks, can call either (01748) 834463 for the longer route, or (01748) 825923 for the ramble around Richmond.
Anyone wishing to takedogs is asked to ring in advance; walkers should bring their own food and drink and should wear stout walking shoes and carry waterproofs, regardless of the weather.
