THREE new senior members of staff have been recruited to oversee key contracts on behalf of one of the North-East's leading construction companies.
Bowey Construction has taken on 43-year-old Colin Pearson as a contracts manager, particularly overseeing schools building projects for the company.
His initial tasks include taking charge of work on an extension to Usworth School, Washington, Wearside, to be finished for the new academic year in September.
Jim Walker, 43, from Washington, joins Bowey as a senior estimator, adding 20 years of experience in the field to the firm's estimating team.
Senior quantity surveyor Tom Etterley, 32, will work on projects including extensions at Durham University and North Tyneside General Hospital.
Managing director Len Clark, said: "I'm sure Colin, Jim and Tom will make great contributions to Bowey Construction at this very exciting time in our development. The directors have just completed a management buy-out for the Bowey Group and we're very optimistic about the future."
